I'm surprised by the way this book played out. I was expecting a straight out spy thriller and what I got was definitely more complicated. I would say it was more of a 3.5 and I usually round down, but because the sexism (which was a pure reflection of the time it was written in) was written with such polite offensiveness I decided to round up. There is something decidedly delightful in the polish the Brits put on everything. I would certainly recommend this to everyone and think it would make a great book club pick.Edit: Canadians you'll have to wait to get them at your local Chapters store... The rights have changed hands and the new editions don't seem to be in stores yet.
